My Knees Again

Sometimes you have to humble yourself before God and surrender everything back over to Him.

Sometimes God will bring you back to your knees again so you can look back up at Him.

I forget that I was made with a purpose, God’s purpose.

So turn off the news, get off your phone, and just look around. The creator of the beautiful sky looks at you with even more awe than the most beautiful sunset. If you ask any of my friends one thing I say the most, I can almost bet it would be “look at the sky.” It’s so easy for me to get wrapped up in all my problems or busy schedules, but when I look at the sky, I can't help but be in awe. I think this is for two reasons:

1. I mean think about it, we are on a planet filled with millions of people, spinning around a moon, in a random solar system. And if that isn't crazy enough, out of all of those people on earth, God loves you. He values you. He calls you HIS. Like what? That will forever blow my mind.

2. It takes looking up at the sky, His creation, to remind me of my place. I am at no authority to be entitled to anything. I am His, I am here to do His will, and that is simply enough.

When I am found back on my knees praying to God, I am more aware of how blessed and loved I truly am.
